The Mylar® coated blade provides up to 10 times greater resistance to abrasion than standard lacquered blades, helping protect the graduations and extend the working life of the tape. Additional BladeArmor protection around the first section of the blade helps reduce wear and the risk of breakage where the tape receives the most stress.
With an impressive 3.35m standout, the wide 32mm blade remains rigid over long distances, making it easier to take measurements single-handed. The clear metric and imperial graduations are easy to read, while the specialised Tru-Zero end hook provides accurate inside and outside measurements.
The tape features a 3-rivet corrosion-resistant hook with top, bottom and side gripping points, providing greater versatility when measuring around awkward objects or from different positions. A forward blade lock makes it quick and straightforward to lock and release the blade.
The high-impact ABS case features a rubberised bumper and overmould, helping protect the tape from knocks and drops while providing a comfortable, secure grip during use.
