Manufactured from high speed steel, the bits offer strength and heat resistance when drilling into metals such as mild steel, aluminium and non ferrous materials, as well as wood and plastics. The 118 degree split point tip helps the bit stay centred on contact, reducing walking and improving accuracy when starting holes.

The extended flute length improves chip removal during deeper drilling, helping prevent binding and keeping the cut smooth. The black oxide finish reduces friction and provides added corrosion resistance, supporting longer tool life under regular use.
