The FISKARS IsoCore Builders Axe is designed for powerful splitting and driving tasks when working with timber and construction materials. Built for durability and performance, this heavy duty axe combines a splitting face for breaking logs with a driving face for striking wedges and stakes.
The forged and heat treated steel head delivers excellent strength and durability, while the optimised blade geometry improves penetration and helps split tougher logs more efficiently. The driving face allows wedges to be struck safely with another tool to help force them deeper into the wood during splitting work.
An inseparable riveted head ensures the axe head remains securely fixed to the handle even when used with maximum striking force. The patented IsoCore Shock Control System reduces shock and vibration transferred to the user by up to 50 percent compared with traditional wooden handled tools, helping reduce fatigue during heavy work.
The handle features SoftGrip with a sculpted ergonomic shape designed to fit naturally in the hand. Strategic grip texturing includes larger dimples for finger grip and smaller dimples for palm support to improve comfort and reduce the risk of blisters.
